PolyMax PLA

PolyMax PLA

PolyMax™ is a family of advanced 3D printing filaments produced with Polymaker’s Nanoreinforcement technology, to deliver exceptional mechanical properties and printing quality. PolyMax™ PLA is an incredibly easy-to-print filament with improved mechanical properties, making it an excellent alternative to ABS.

  • Information

Jam-Free™ - Jam-Free™ technology improves the heat stability of Polymaker’s PLA filaments with softening temperatures over 140 °C. As a result, Polymaker’s PLA filaments show minimal softening in the “cold end” and can melt rapidly once entering the heating zone, leading to excellent printing quality with zero risk of nozzle jams caused by heat creep.

Nano-reinforcement - Nano-reinforcement technology is applied to produce filaments with excellent mechanical properties and printing quality. It dramatically improves the toughness of the material by increasing its impact resistance.

Superior Toughness - Regular PLA is a very brittle material which greatly limits its range of applications. PolyMax™ PLA exhibits vastly superior impact strength with up to 20% improvement when compared to regular ABS and up to 9 times that of regular PLA and PLA+ materials.

Ductile - Parts printed in PolyMax™ PLA display excellent ductility, suitable for snap fit componentry.

Safe and Clean - Polymaker use only PLA resins from Nature Works for the filaments manufacture.

Easy-to-print - The outstanding mechanical strength of PolyMax™ PLA is achieved with no compromise in printing quality. PolyMax™ PLA prints easily with no heated bed required. A heated bed can be used for best results (up to 60°C).

Quality Control - Polymakers leading quality control process and rigorous in-house testing, ensure reliable printing and consistency across spools and batches
